On Wednesday, MK Yoav Bismuth, chairman of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, sent a letter to Shin Bet chief David Zini expressing serious concerns about potential internal interference in the upcoming general elections. Bismuth's warning followed a Supreme Court interim order earlier the same day that temporarily blocked Michael Regev's appointment as State Comptroller pending a final ruling on the matter.
