Hapoel Be'er Sheva continues its preseason training camp in Poland without Kings Kangwa, who is expected to join soon. Meanwhile, the club is closely monitoring the condition of star midfielder Dan Biton, who has yet to begin preparations for the upcoming season due to medical issues. Biton is scheduled to undergo a series of comprehensive medical examinations that will determine whether he can continue his professional football career.

Biton, who was Hapoel Be'er Sheva's top scorer last season with 15 goals, was diagnosed with myocarditis after feeling unwell at the start of the conflict that paused the league. This inflammation of the heart muscle forced him to immediately stop all sports activities. The club and Biton's team emphasize the importance of the early diagnosis, as continuing to play could have put his life at risk.

Since then, Biton has received medication that helped him recover from the inflammation. The upcoming tests, including advanced imaging and heart function assessments, aim to confirm full recovery and absence of irreversible damage. If results are positive, Biton may gradually return to training under close medical supervision and potentially resume full activity within weeks. However, if the tests reveal ongoing issues, he will be prohibited from sports activity, with no clear timeline for a return.

Despite the uncertainty, Biton remains optimistic. His representatives stated he is in good spirits and grateful the condition was detected early, believing that everything will turn out well.
