Popular Baby Rattles Recalled in Israel Over Choking Hazard
Elika Toys Ltd. has urgently recalled the "My First Rattles Set" model WL-00884/321, imported from China by manufacturer JUN FA. The product was sold between January 26, 2025, and January 1, 2026. Testing by the Standards Institution of Israel revealed the rattles do not meet Israeli safety standards (ISI 562 Part 1) for mechanical and physical properties. Specifically, two of the five rattles (shaped like a butterfly and a flower) contain small parts that are not securely attached and may detach, posing a choking and injury risk to children under three years old.
Consumers who own this product are instructed to stop using it immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a refund or to the importer’s warehouse for replacement or repair. The recall notice was issued in coordination with the Standards Authority at the Ministry of Economy and Industry. For further information, customers can contact Elika Toys Ltd. via email or phone.
