Nine-Month-Old Baby Found Dead in Ashkelon Home

A tragic incident occurred in Ashkelon where a nine-month-old baby girl was found unresponsive in her bed early this morning around 9:00 AM. Family members discovered the infant without signs of life at their home. Emergency responders from United Hatzalah's Southern District arrived promptly and initiated prolonged resuscitation efforts. Despite their attempts and subsequent transport to the hospital, the medical team declared the infant deceased. Israel Fargion, a paramedic with United Hatzalah, reported that the baby had not awakened from sleep when found. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
