Fire Shuts Down Israeli Embassy Consular Services in Moscow Temporarily

A fire broke out overnight in the consular section of the Israeli Embassy in Moscow due to an electrical short circuit. Russian firefighters were allowed to enter the premises despite diplomatic immunity and quickly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported. Consular services will be suspended at the Moscow embassy until repairs are completed. Meanwhile, consular assistance will be provided at the Israeli consulate in Saint Petersburg.
