Microsoft Israel Highlights AI Business Impact at Annual AI Tour in Tel Aviv

Microsoft Israel hosted its flagship annual event, Microsoft AI Tour Tel Aviv 2026, at Expo Tel Aviv, bringing together thousands of executives, technologists, entrepreneurs, developers, startup representatives, business partners, and leading organizations. The event focused on how artificial intelligence is already transforming organizational workflows, decision-making, and customer service. Now in its second year in Israel, the event reflected a significant shift in local AI discourse from exploring AI capabilities to implementing AI responsibly, securely, and effectively in daily operations and scaling from pilot projects to broad business impact.

Throughout the day, attendees participated in tracks designed to accelerate business transformation, enhance productivity, and support the development of next-generation AI solutions. The Connection Hub showcased practical demos illustrating AI integration in daily workflows, including information summarization, insight generation, code development, risk identification, and building organizational agents connected to core data.

Avi Yoshaie, CTO and acting CEO of Microsoft Israel, emphasized the transition from AI as a tool to AI as a core process driver, stating, "The challenge is no longer just technological but how to create real business impact and embed AI into daily work. Increasingly, organizations in Israel and worldwide are rethinking work processes, where AI can evolve from an interesting capability to a true growth engine empowering employees and organizations."

Participants included NVIDIA, Bank Hapoalim, Amdocs, Upwind, Phoenix, Wonderful, ZIM, Meitav, Seemplicity, EON, Varonis, Maccabi, Strauss, and others. They presented AI applications across customer service, product development, cybersecurity, financial management, healthcare, logistics, and organizational processes. Wonderful, a leading company in the Agentic field, shared its collaboration with Microsoft Foundry, detailing model selection, AI process implementation, and the business and technical challenges addressed by these models.

A key topic was information security in the AI era. Microsoft’s CISO Club convened a special session for security leaders from top organizations to discuss protection, responsibility, and trust-building in AI deployment.
