FBI Raid on Porn Producer’s Home Reopens 2016 Disappearance Case in Philadelphia
A dramatic development has emerged in the 2016 disappearance of Amy McHale, a Philadelphia mother, following an FBI raid on the home of a deceased porn producer who was once married to her. The raid uncovered a large cache of weapons, industrial chemicals, a chilling note referencing serial killer Ted Bundy, and the ID of another missing woman. The producer’s 44-year-old son, Eugene Horsch, was arrested, revealing a disturbing pattern of exploiting vulnerable women struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
Amy McHale’s last contact was a voicemail to her mother on June 13, 2016, stating she was safe at Raymond Charles "R.S." Horsch’s home. Since then, she vanished without a trace. R.S. Horsch, who died in 2025, had a criminal history involving drug manufacturing and forgery and was known for filming women in sadomasochistic pornographic scenes. Amy’s daughter Amanda Stopper described her mother as a caring woman battling addiction, targeted by predatory men like Horsch.
The investigation intensified after a National Parks Service ranger overheard a woman screaming in a parked car near Philadelphia’s Independence Hall. Eugene Horsch was found inside with fake drug enforcement credentials, a switchblade, and two untraceable guns. His companion held a forged ID bearing the name of a woman reported missing in Kensington in 2023. She admitted Eugene gave it to her to evade arrest warrants.
Philadelphia police and the FBI’s search of the family home in Olney uncovered massive chemical barrels, drugs, weapons, and the disturbing note mentioning Ted Bundy. Authorities fear the site was used for prolonged criminal activity involving abuse and exploitation of marginalized women. The case now links multiple disappearances in the area, raising hopes for answers after a decade of uncertainty for Amy McHale’s family.
Law enforcement continues to analyze the evidence, while Amy’s relatives await closure, hoping someone with knowledge will come forward to shed light on the dark history tied to the Horsch family residence.
