Big Bang Baby News: Kaley Cuoco Is Expecting Her Second Child
Actress Kaley Cuoco, 40, the star of The Big Bang Theory, announced that she and her fiancé Tom Pelphrey, 43, are expecting their second child. More precisely, a second daughter. The star shared family photos yesterday, Wednesday, the first of which was a large cake revealing the fetus’s sex, with pink filling inside.
Cuoco wrote, "Completing our little family. A dream come true. Our second try was a little more complicated for all kinds of reasons, but wow, we are so grateful for this moment. Little sister on the way!" The first daughter, Matilda, was born in 2023, and Cuoco called Pelphrey "forever a girls' dad."
Among the photos in the post, she also included an ultrasound image showing the fetus making an obscene gesture, and the proud mother confirmed, "Yes, that is our sweet little princess giving us the finger." The emotional post has so far drawn hundreds of thousands of likes and thousands of comments. The couple met in 2022, became parents a year later and got engaged a year after that, in 2024. Cuoco later admitted that despite the engagement, they had not yet started thinking about the wedding itself, and even said, "Maybe we'll have another child first." Well, here it comes. She added, "We're not going in order, that's our plan. I have four dogs and a baby, and that is a lot!"
Cuoco was married twice. In 2013 she married former tennis player Ryan Sweeting, but they divorced after three years. In 2018 she married Karl Cook, and that marriage also lasted only three years. After those divorces, Cuoco said her days as a married woman were over: "I want to be in a long-term relationship, but I will never get married again. Absolutely not."
