Israeli Table Tennis Championship 2026 Kicks Off Tomorrow at Wingate Institute

The 2026 Israeli Table Tennis Championship named after Ben Zusman begins tomorrow, June 30, and runs through July 3 at the Wingate Institute's HaHisgagi Hall. This premier national event will bring together the top male and female table tennis players from across Israel to compete for the coveted national titles. Throughout the season, players earned their rankings and qualification spots through various competitions, culminating now in this major championship.

The championship honors the memory of Ben Zusman, a talented player and combat engineer who was killed in action in the Gaza Strip on December 3, 2023. Zusman had shown exceptional promise from a young age, competing in the youth premier league and national adult league for Hapoel Jerusalem.
