Retired Brigadier General Moshe Feld Endorses Finance Minister Smotrich Ahead of Elections

During a joint visit to Kibbutz Beit Sheita with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, retired Brigadier General and former Knesset member Moshe (Musa) Feld publicly announced his support for Smotrich and called on the secular Zionist public to back him in the upcoming elections. Feld praised the religious Zionist community for its comprehensive contributions to settlement, security, education, and immigration absorption, emphasizing their dedication to national missions. He urged secular voters who value love of the land and uncompromising Zionism to reconsider their votes and see Smotrich's party as their political home.

Feld expressed deep appreciation for Smotrich's leadership and the values he represents, stating, "I want to say to you in the clearest and most loving way: I support you, and I am happy with your work." He highlighted the strong shared values that transcend religious differences, underscoring the religious Zionist community's loyalty and commitment to Israel.

In response, Finance Minister Smotrich warmly thanked Feld and emphasized the importance of continuing pioneering efforts in agriculture and settlement across Israel, including the north, Golan Heights, Jezreel Valley, Judea and Samaria, Jordan Valley, and Gush Dan. Smotrich described the religious Zionist identity as combining traditional symbols with practical work, expressing pride and determination to settle the land alongside their partners. The announcement took place at Beit Sheita, a historic Labor movement stronghold, marking a significant political endorsement ahead of the Knesset elections.
