Austrian forward Sasa Klaidzic scored a vital equalizing goal in Austria's dramatic 3-3 draw against Algeria at the 2026 World Cup, helping keep his team’s hopes alive in the tournament. Klaidzic, who entered the match less than a minute before scoring, has endured a challenging career marked by serious injuries but is now seizing a pivotal moment on the world stage.

Standing two meters tall, Klaidzic was once hailed as Austria's top football prospect, expected to succeed Marco Arnautovic.
