Hapoel Tel Aviv Bets on Emmanuel Boateng
Hapoel Tel Aviv continues its preparations for next season, with Emmanuel Boateng at the center of attention. The striker is expected to be one of the leading forwards in 2026/27 alongside Stav Turiel and Lougizios Loizou, who was officially sold Wednesday night to Red Star Belgrade. Daniel Dappa, it should be noted, is also expected to have a major role.
"He will be a monster," Hapoel Tel Aviv said of the striker, who once scored a hat trick against Barcelona and arrived in January. "We believe he is going to explode."
Since joining, Boateng has mainly served as a bench player, but he earned a place in the starting lineup in the top playoff. Among other things, he started in the 4-0 win over Maccabi Haifa at Bloomfield Stadium, and was left out of the squad in the final matches of the season against the Greens and Beitar Jerusalem.
The 30-year-old Boateng scored just one goal in 13 Premier League appearances. Now, as part of a refreshed attacking trio that is also expected to include Themoku Diarra, the experienced striker is expected to play a central role.
