Hapoel Tel Aviv Banking on Emmanuel Boateng
Hapoel Tel Aviv is continuing its preparations for next season, with Emmanuel Boateng at the center of attention. The striker is expected to be one of the leading forwards in 2026/27 alongside Stav Turiel and Lousiuz Loizou, who was officially sold yesterday, Wednesday, to Red Star Belgrade. Daniel Dapa, it should be noted, is also expected to play an important role.
"He will be a monster," Hapoel Tel Aviv said of the striker, who once scored a hat trick against Barcelona and arrived in January. "We believe he is going to explode."
Since arriving, Boateng has mainly been used as a substitute, but he won a place in the starting lineup during the top playoffs. Among other things, he started in the 4-0 win over Maccabi Haifa at Bloomfield, and was left out of the squad in the final matches of the season against the Greens and Beitar Jerusalem.
Boateng, 30, scored just one goal in 13 Premier League appearances. Now, as part of a revamped attacking trio that is also expected to include Thiemoko Diarra, the experienced striker is expected to play a central role.
