Arie Eldad Slams Haredi Jerusalem Faction Spokesman Over Nazi Comparison
Former MK Arie Eldad lashed out on 103FM after Judah Beloi, spokesman for the Jerusalem Faction, compared the State of Israel to a Nazi "Kapo" during an on-air interview. The exchange took place on a program hosted by Eldad and Ron Kufman, and quickly escalated when Beloi asked whether the state was acting like "the German Kapo" by using force against what he called the true and original Jewish people.
Kufman tried to stop the remark, saying that no Jew or Israeli can be called a Kapo, but Eldad reacted angrily and demanded that Beloi be removed from the line. "Shut up. Take the bastard off the line. If he does not apologize now, I will take him off the line. Are you apologizing?" Eldad said.
When Beloi said the two hosts were evading his question, Eldad accused him of putting a question mark in a malicious way and used harsher language, asking if he was a descendant of Amalek, Agag, or Haman. He told Beloi to be ashamed and added that he is Jewish and should not be brought on air again.
Eldad concluded that Beloi should never again be allowed to speak on the station, calling him someone unworthy of appearing on what he described as a Jewish Hebrew radio station in the Land of Israel.
