Eden Ben Zaken has decided to handle her own wardrobe for the new season of "The Voice" on Reshet 13, after reportedly being unhappy with the outfits chosen for her and replacing her styling team again. The move came during filming for the 2026 season and, according to the report, followed a backstage stir over the latest looks prepared for her.
On Wednesday, Ben Zaken posted her first outfit from the studio shoot on Instagram and wrote, "Style: me." The article says this is only the latest chapter in a long series of styling changes around the singer. Over the years, her styling has involved Israel Rahmani, an unfulfilled attempt with Sapir Avisror, a short-lived collaboration with Haya Weder, talk of veteran stylist Mazal Hasson, and then Shani Lesri, who styles Itay Levi, before that partnership also ended after a short period.
The debut look was described as wearable but crowded, with an oversized blazer, several belts layered in different sizes, prominent zippers, studs, lapel pins, a slight neckline with a lace bra showing, and jewelry. The reviewer said the eye does not know where to focus, and while the blazer flatters the shoulders and creates a tailored silhouette, the belt proportions disrupt the clean line and cut the body in an overly harsh way.
The piece said the metallic, almost punk aesthetic could have worked for Ben Zaken if the elements had been given more space instead of being mixed together too heavily. Hair was styled by Lidor Hadida, who created a half-up topknot with wavy front strands, and makeup was done by Eliav Maman. The self-styling experiment drew many reactions online and from colleagues, including singer Eden Hason, who asked if she was free to style him at Live Park, and her husband Shuki, who wrote, "Keep going like this, I love it."
