Guy Galanti, a 48-year-old Israeli, was sentenced in federal court in Arizona to time already served plus three years of supervised release after pleading guilty to stealing trade secrets from Green Technology Investments, where he had worked as a senior manager.
He had been held in custody since September 2025. According to court records, Galanti passed technical information, software and confidential images of a chip-defect detection system to an associate linked to a competing company in Taiwan.
The documents say the transfer was carried out through encrypted apps and concealed with fake invoices. The case centers on the theft of proprietary material from the company he managed and the use of covert channels to move it abroad.
