GunPlus Launches as a Dedicated Marketplace for Licensed Gun Owners in Israel
A new Israeli website called GunPlus is trying to become the country’s main secondhand marketplace for licensed gun owners. The launch comes as the number of licensed firearm holders in Israel has risen sharply in recent years, and the site says it was created to give the community a more professional, reliable and orderly platform for buying, selling and searching for firearms and related gear within the law.
Until now, the market has largely operated through WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, Facebook groups and closed circles, making it hard for buyers to track active listings and for sellers to reach the right audience. GunPlus aims to centralize those listings in one place, with categories for secondhand pistols, rifles where permitted by law, sights and optics, holsters, gun safes, flashlights, tactical gear, range equipment and other shooting accessories.
Behind the site is Motti Levi, founder of the World of Weapons Israel network, one of the best-known gun communities in the country. That network runs dozens of groups and content channels for licensed owners, shooting instructors, range supervisors, firearms enthusiasts and tactical gear communities, including the Haredi gun owners group, and GunPlus is linked to that existing audience for broader exposure.
The company says the site is meant to be more than a classifieds board. Its longer-term plan is to become a digital home for Israel’s licensed gun community, with professional content, product reviews, news, updates, guides, comparisons and business directories. GunPlus says it was built from direct knowledge of the community’s needs, and it hopes that, if the vision succeeds, it will become the leading online home for licensed gun owners in Israel.
