Cabinet member and Transport Minister Miri Regev said in an interview with ynet’s political podcast “120 and One” that, despite uncertainty over the outcome of what she called the second war with Iran, the campaign still produced gains for Israel. She said those gains included pushing back the nuclear and ballistic missile threats facing the country.
Asked whether the Iranian regime had been strengthened, Regev rejected that view. “Those statements are weakening and they are also factually incorrect,” she said. “Iran will not have nuclear weapons. Period. President Trump says that clearly as well. We removed the existential threat that existed for Israel in terms of nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.”
