A large Jewish music concert is scheduled for Sultan’s Pool in Jerusalem on Tuesday, 14 Av 5786, July 28, 2026, with doors opening at 7:00 p.m. and the show starting at 8:00 p.m. The event is being promoted as a rare intergenerational gathering for fathers and sons, yeshiva students, and fans from across the religious spectrum.
The centerpiece of the evening will be Mordechai Ben David, described as a foundational figure in Hasidic music and the voice behind enduring songs such as “Mashiach,” “Anachnu Ma’aminim,” and “Yerushalayim Eina L’Mekhirah.” He will perform alongside Yechiamel Bigon and the legendary Miami Boys Choir, a combination organizers say will stir major nostalgia.
Another major draw is Shmueli Sukkot, who rose quickly from intimate kumzitz and family performances to become one of the most played and in-demand singers in the sector. His debut album, “Tedaber Ito,” and his new album, “HaYeled HaZeh,” helped cement his status, while his hit “Avarti BaChoshech” was named Song of the Year and became an anthem in yeshiva circles and beyond.
The musical direction and production are in the hands of maestro Yoeli Dickman, who will conduct the orchestra. Singer-songwriter Bini Landau is also set to appear, and the organizers say the mix of Jerusalem’s atmosphere, careful sound production, and thousands of voices in the audience will make it a once-in-a-generation show. Ticket sales are moving quickly, and organizers warn that a sellout is expected soon.
