An Israeli court on Monday allowed partial publication of details about a man in his 30s from central Israel, including the social media profiles he used. He is suspected of offenses including possession and publication of obscene material, spreading false information, publishing obscene material involving a minor, and indecent acts under aggravating circumstances involving two or more people acting together.
Police said the suspect used Telegram and Instagram profiles to communicate with minors. Investigators are urging anyone who may have been harmed through those accounts to contact hotline 105, the national center for protecting children online.
The decision comes amid an ongoing investigation by Unit 105 of Lahav 433, which began after an abuse incident involving a minor was uncovered. As the probe progressed, four suspects from one family, all residents of central Israel, were arrested last Friday on suspicion of indecent acts by a guardian, abuse of a helpless person, and producing and distributing obscene material.
In parallel, at a hearing at the Rishon LeZion Magistrate’s Court, prosecutors filed a declaration of intent to indict two female suspects in the case. Their remand was extended until June 25, 2026, while another suspect’s detention was extended until June 26, 2026. The investigation is continuing.
