Journalist and media figure Atilla Somfalvi is officially joining Channel 10, known as Israel’s economic channel. In his new role, he will lead and present the station’s new flagship program, called “Real Estate 10,” which will focus on housing and infrastructure in Israel.
Somfalvi is currently a communications consultant and the owner of AS Consulting. He is best known to the public for his many years as senior political correspondent and commentator for ynet, where he also hosted its studio show.
He also has television presenting experience from earlier in his career, when he hosted the current-affairs program “The Central Game” on the Knesset Channel. His addition is being presented as a significant boost for Channel 10.
The channel, which launched in early 2025, covers finance, capital markets, investments, real estate and market analysis in Israel and abroad throughout the day. It is owned by Israeli Economic Channel Ltd., part of a media group controlled by businessman and billionaire Isaac Mirilashvili. Like other niche financial channels worldwide, it operates mainly on official trading days in Israel, and Somfalvi’s program will be part of its new schedule.
