Aspen Group has received a building permit to construct a commercial center at ground level of Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa, and work is expected to begin soon. The project was reported by the Israeli real estate outlet Center of Real Estate, which said Aspen won the tender in 2024.
As part of the tender, the company received a 25-year lease and usage right for the site. The development is expected to cost at least NIS 23 million.
According to the report, Aspen has already signed lease agreements with several companies and stores as planning advances. The project will include 7,500 square meters of retail space and 8,000 square meters of parking area.
The stated goal is to turn the area around the stadium into an active destination throughout the week, not only on match days for Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Haifa.
