A new survey by the Maagar Mochot polling firm, commissioned for MK Eliyahu Revivo, says Likud could lose 3 to 4 Knesset seats depending on where MK Tali Gottlieb is placed on the party list. The poll was carried out by Prof. Yitzhak Katz and was reported by Israel Hayom.
The survey was conducted on June 15 and 16, 2026, among 503 respondents, described as a representative sample of right-wing bloc voters. It found that some voters are uneasy about placing Gottlieb near the top of Likud’s slate.
According to the published data, 13% to 15% of current Likud voters say they would not vote for the party if Gottlieb were placed in the top five. Based on Likud’s current strength, the poll’s interpretation is that this could translate into a loss of 3 to 4 seats, potentially affecting the balance of power within the right-wing bloc.
Gottlieb responded by rejecting claims that she weakens Likud. She said, “I am aware of the false briefings saying that I ‘weaken’ Likud. This is a bad joke. Many surveys, including some from around the prime minister, showed that I am a strong right-wing electoral force in Likud that draws many right-wing voters, and the public appreciation for me arouses envy both inside and outside. Envy among writers increases wisdom.”
