Preparations are underway for this year’s Festigal, the big Hanukkah stage show, and producers appear to be building a particularly star-heavy lineup that bridges social media and live performance. According to a report on "Erev Tov with Guy Pines," internet star Omer Levy is in advanced talks to join the cast.
Levy has millions of followers and a devoted fan base built on her humorous food and lifestyle videos. She is widely associated with her high-energy online persona and her catchphrase, "mami." If the deal goes through, it would be her first appearance on Israel’s biggest stage show.
The lineup negotiations are not limited to Levy. The production is also said to be in talks with other major names, including Noa Kirel, Shahar Taboch and Shira Zalouf, as it seeks to assemble the largest possible roster of well-known performers for the upcoming Festigal.
