Rats were discovered on an Arkia flight that arrived from Greece with no passengers on board, company sources said Monday. The rodents were found in a service cart that had been carrying bottles of water and cups.
According to the airline, the incident is the responsibility of TMM, short for Aircraft Food Industries, which handles the relevant catering and service operations. No passengers were on the flight when the discovery was made, and the report did not say whether the plane was taken out of service or what immediate steps followed.
