The teaser for Ortal Amar’s participation in the new season of HOT’s docu-reality series “Connected” was removed from HOT’s social media after objections from Ben El Tavori, the father of her son. According to a report by mako on June 21, 2026, the clip apparently included material Tavori did not want published.
Sources familiar with the matter said HOT is now preparing a revised teaser that will meet Tavori’s requests and is expected to be reposted soon. The controversy comes ahead of the show’s new season, in which Amar and Tavori are among the most notable cast members.
The two were once a couple and share a son, Teo Prince. Over the years they went through public ups and downs and a widely publicized dispute, but eventually rebuilt their relationship as co-parents. Even so, the report says their cooperation around the new season is not entirely smooth.
Those same sources said Tavori is not agreeing, for now, to give media interviews to promote the show, as participants usually do each season. He has also reportedly told production he does not plan to speak to reporters ahead of the premiere, and there were disagreements on the day of the poster shoot, when he allegedly did not want to be photographed next to Amar. From the start, he reportedly made clear that he was appearing as Ben El Tavori only, not as part of a joint appearance with Amar, and asked that the two be kept separate. In response, Rom Lelouch, speaking for Tavori, said: “Ben El is coming to celebrate the launch of the new season of ‘Connected,’ in which he stars. If he has something to say, he will definitely be interviewed.”
