HOT removed Ortal Amar’s teaser for the new season of the docu-reality series “Connected” after objections from Ben-El Tavori, the father of her son. The report, published first by mako on June 21, 2026, says Tavori said the teaser included material he did not want shown.
According to people familiar with the matter, HOT is now preparing a revised teaser that will meet Tavori’s demands and is expected to go back online soon. The issue has emerged ahead of the show’s new season, in which Amar and Tavori are among the most talked-about cast members.
The article says Amar and Tavori were once a couple, share a son, To Prince, and over the years had a highly public breakup and public disputes before rebuilding their relationship as co-parents. But the release of the teaser showed that tensions remain around the production.
The same sources said Tavori is, for now, refusing to give promotional interviews to the media, something that is usually expected from “Connected” participants before a season launch. He also told the production, according to the report, that he does not plan to speak at the premiere event. On the day the show’s poster was shot, there were also disagreements because Tavori did not want to be photographed next to Amar. From the start, he reportedly made clear that he was appearing as Ben-El Tavori alone, not as part of a joint appearance with Amar. In response, Tavori’s representative, Rotem Lalush, said, “Ben-El is coming to celebrate the launch of the new season of ‘Connected’ in which he stars. If he has something to say, he will certainly be interviewed.”
