Indictment: Ma'ale Adumim Teen Attacked Palestinian Family's Dog, Causing Severe Injuries
The State Attorney’s Office has filed an indictment with the Jerusalem Juvenile Magistrate’s Court against a 16-year-old from Ma'ale Adumim, accusing him of attacking the dog of a Palestinian family in the Binyamin area and causing the animal severe injuries, on a racist basis. The prosecution asked the court to order his detention until the end of the proceedings against him.
According to the indictment, during 2026 the teenager entered the family’s yard on several occasions without permission. In one case in May, he entered the yard accompanied by two dogs and carrying two sticks, attacked the family’s dog and caused it severe injuries that required veterinary treatment and medical monitoring.
