Conservative commentator and Fox News host Mark Levin launched a sharp attack on the Trump administration’s understanding with Iran, saying it amounts to betrayal of U.S. allies and “total surrender” to the Iranian regime. The criticism was aired on Fox News on June 21, 2026, in remarks by Eli Leon, and focused on the deal’s reported terms and the role of mediators including Qatar and Pakistan.
Levin said the United States should never have been involved, directly or indirectly, in moving money to Tehran. He argued that the agreement includes the release of massive funds, saying, “300 billion dollars that will not be used for the people, who are we kidding? It is to strengthen the regime.”
He also condemned the U.S. demand to stop fighting proxy groups, asking, “Why are we doing Hezbollah’s work when Israel is attacked by them?” Levin called this “total surrender to the Iranian regime” and said Washington was abandoning allies under attack.
He ended with a warning about Iran’s intentions, saying, “The enemy does not surrender, it will never surrender and it will never abandon its goal and its revolution.” He added, “Any deal for them is not worth the paper it is written on. This is a death cult, suicide bombers who want nuclear weapons.”
