Hadera has approved a building permit for a large urban renewal project in the Sela Beitar complex on David Shimoni Boulevard, one of the city’s main roads. The permit covers two 25-story towers with 232 apartments in total, and two additional 17-story towers with 186 apartments in total.
The project will also include underground floors, service areas, parking solutions, transformer rooms, public spaces and other urban features intended to serve both residents of the complex and the surrounding neighborhood. Altogether, the development is expected to add about 1,452 housing units, along with retail, employment and public buildings.
Sela Beitar is part of Hadera’s wider development plan to connect the renewed city center, western Hadera, the Energy business park and the railway station. The project is being advanced by Dan Real Estate, Rotshtein and the Perkas Group.
The municipality said the promotion of Sela Beitar joins a series of major urban renewal projects across the city, part of a vision to turn Hadera into a renewed, accessible, connected and advanced coastal city with diverse housing, new infrastructure, a strong education system and reinforcement of older neighborhoods.
