Mazel Tov: Kikar HaShabbat’s society reporter Itzik Ohana gets engaged
Media personality Itzik Ohana, a Kikar HaShabbat reporter who frequently covers engagements and other events in the haredi social scene, is celebrating his own personal joy this time. He proposed in Jerusalem, מול the Western Wall, to the bride Hani Pahima.
A good sign and congratulations: media personality Itzik Ohana, 28, Kikar HaShabbat’s society reporter and one of the owners of the entertainment page “HaRabanit,” a leader in the haredi sector and beyond, got engaged today, Sunday, to the bride Hani Pahima from Petah Tikva, 27, in good and successful hour. The bride is the daughter of Rabbi Benjamin Pahima, head of the Torah veChesed institutions in Bnei Brak, and the granddaughter of the late Rabbi Makhlouf Pahima.
In an emotional, small ceremony held on a balcony facing the Western Wall, a remnant of the Temple, he celebrated the moment of his engagement. Present at the site were a group of his friends and acquaintances, including media figures and coworkers, who shared in his joy and danced with him מול the remnant of the Temple. Later in the evening, Ohana will celebrate the “vort” with guests from all over the country.
Itzik Ohana began his career in the media world in 2015 as a presenter on “Kavei News.” At the same time, he worked for about four years as a reporter and editor at the “B’Chadrei Haredim” website. In 2019 he moved to serve as an entertainment and celebrity reporter and producer at Kikar HaShabbat. In 2020 he founded the popular entertainment page in the sector, “HaRabanit of Instagram.” Ohana covers here at Kikar HaShabbat all events in the haredi social scene, both happy and less happy ones. Among other things, he is responsible for the long-running popular column Zofnik, which attracts tens of thousands of visitors each week.
The Kikar HaShabbat editorial staff wishes dear Itzik and his bride that they merit to build a faithful home in Israel, a lasting structure, and enjoy happy, joyful lives in every sense. May the Creator, through complete acquisition, perfect this building.
