Moti Reif and his former partner Penina Brik married off their eldest daughter, Noa Reif, to her partner Ariel on Friday at a midday wedding at the Oman 17 venue in Tel Aviv. The event had a white dress code and was presented as one of the biggest moments in Reif’s life, after years of producing and attending major fashion events, including Tel Aviv Fashion Week.
The wedding had been in doubt until the last minute, after an anxious week in which the possibility of renewed war with Iran was hanging over the country. In the end, the concern passed, and the celebration went ahead, with the article noting hopes that people will be able to vacation and celebrate this summer without Home Front Command restrictions.
Reif, who last month also officiated the wedding of Yuval Kaspit and Nimrod Ron, handed the ceremony over to his partner, Simor Luzon, whom the couple chose to conduct the marriage ritual. On the artistic side of the event, singer Shiri Maimon, a close friend of the couple, brought the bride and groom to the chuppah with her song "Sheleg BeSharav".
Among the guests who came to celebrate and dance were Lior Miller and his partner Galit, Shirli Bogenim and her husband Liran Srok, Anat Biran, Shay Karem, Dorit Bar Or, Noa Tishby, Eyal Waldman and his younger partner Maya, Ronit Yudkevitz, Alon Livne, Tikva Gideon, Maya Dagan, Linor Abargil, Yael Refaeli, Orna Datz, Tahunya Rubel, Irit Rahamim, Leah Schnirrer, Dana Frieder and Titi Aynao with her husband and child.
