Senior Religious Services Official Hosts Lavish Wedding for His Son in Rishon LeZion

Tsuri Porat, the deputy director general of the Ministry of Religious Services, celebrated the wedding of his son Yonatan to Leah Vaknin, the daughter of businessman Amir Vaknin, on Tuesday night in Rishon LeZion. The event was held at the upscale Lago hall and drew rabbis, public figures, and businesspeople who came to congratulate the families.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by Israel’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi, Rabbi David Yosef, who was honored with arranging the chuppah and kiddushin and gave his blessing to the couple. Guests also used the occasion to bless Porat and his family and wish the newlyweds a lasting Jewish home in Israel.
