Art Judaica inaugurated a new display hall called “Heichal Reuven” at its new showroom in Yavne, in a ceremony held in honor of the brothers Nir and Eyal Sharon’s father, Rabbi Reuven Sharon. The hall was dedicated out of gratitude for his long public and family contribution, and as a wish for good health and long life.
The event brought together Rabbi Yaakov Yisrael Ipfargan, known as “The X-ray,” Rabbi David Abu-Hatsira, Yavne’s chief rabbi, Yavne Mayor Roi Gabbai, the Sharon family, company executives, business guests and relatives. Broadcaster Oded Menashe hosted the ceremony and presented the story behind the hall’s creation, Art Judaica’s work, and the Sharon family’s role in the company’s success and in spreading Judaica products worldwide.
Rabbi Ipfargan affixed the mezuzah and praised the company, saying Art Judaica helps “glorify and elevate the commandments of God” through the beauty of the phrase “This is my God and I will adorn Him,” adding that the company brings “connection, love and uplift” into Jewish observance. Rabbi Abu-Hatsira unveiled the sign for “Heichal Reuven” and said, “Heichal Reuven is not only here in Yavne. It is in every Jewish home in the world. You are fortunate.” He also praised the family and management for promoting ritual objects and beautifying mitzvot in Israel and abroad.
Mayor Gabbai said it was moving to inaugurate the impressive showroom, describing it as proof of entrepreneurship, growth and faith, and welcoming more businesses to Yavne to create jobs and opportunities. Eyal Sharon said the company sees itself as a mission, not just a business, and that it does not simply sell a hanukkiah, but “lights a light in the home.” Nir Sharon said the hall is dedicated to his father’s path of action, generosity and humility. Art Judaica CEO Roi Eckstein said the company now offers about 5,000 products and adds roughly 1,500 new ones each year, aiming to bring its products to every Jewish community worldwide.
