Noa Moses, a star of "Wedding at First Sight," said in an Instagram Q&A that she has adopted a daily fasting routine of 16 to 20 hours as part of her post-weight-loss lifestyle. She said she eventually found an eating pattern that suits her, stressing that what works for her may not work for others.
Moses explained that exercise is only a small part of weight loss. "I know sport is only 20 percent," she said, noting that during periods when she trained for an Ironman competition she weighed more than she does now. She said nutrition matters most, but added that her approach is not about starving herself: "I love eating a lot, really. So I found a combination that works for me."
In a post she published a few weeks earlier, Moses spoke openly about years of body-image struggles. She said people called her fat in high school, and that Gai Hochman corrected that during a class reunion. Moses said she wanted to address a video by Yuval Caspitt and shared that she has thought a lot about how to talk about one of the hardest topics for her. She said she used to weigh more than 20 kilograms above her current weight, has not weighed herself in about a year, and no longer cares about the number.
Moses also described the conflicting comments she receives, from people telling her she would look better with 20 more kilograms to others saying she looks like a skeleton and too thin. She said that when people see her in Tel Aviv next week they will likely say she looks healthy and that it is nice she gained some weight, even if only slightly. She added that she used to obsess over every detail, but now feels happy and less affected by such comments. In a separate answer about her relationship with Ari, she said she would have done some things differently, especially by asking him to relax less for the camera, but added that her own stress drove some of those reactions and that she now understands it is fine for two people to have different energies.
