Carrefour Israel is launching a new weeklong promotion focused on the main items in a family grocery basket, including meat, chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables. The deals are available in the chain’s stores, subject to the promotion’s terms and until stock runs out.
Among the featured prices, Carrefour is offering fresh La Marche entrecote at 139.90 shekels per kilogram, fresh or packaged chicken thighs at 29.90 shekels for 2 kilograms, and whole fresh salmon fillet at 59.90 shekels per kilogram. In produce, the chain is selling watermelon for 2.50 shekels per kilogram, bananas for 5.90 shekels per kilogram, and nectarines for 8.90 shekels per kilogram.
The offers are valid until 19 June 2026 or until inventory is depleted, whichever comes first. Some promotions require purchases of more than 70 shekels and are limited in quantity or in the number of times they can be used, depending on the specific offer. For online orders on Carrefour’s website, the minimum basket is 200 shekels.
Carrefour said the focus on fresh products reflects its understanding that many families make a major weekly shop that includes items for hosting and for Shabbat meals. The company said it wants to deepen discounts in categories where consumers feel the cost of living most sharply. Michael Loboshitz, CEO of Carrefour Israel, said: “We continue to act to offer consumers attractive prices on a wide range of products. Alongside the prices of ‘the cheapest basket in Israel’, sold at a discount of more than 30%, we decided to offer special prices also in the fresh departments on products that are found in almost every family purchase.”
