Gottlieb Joins Ben-Gvir's Jewish Power Party, Secures Second Spot on List
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir announced that Knesset Member Tali Gottlieb will join his Jewish Power party, taking the second position on the party's electoral list. Ben-Gvir stated that Gottlieb was initially slated for fourth place, but Minister Yitzhak Wasserlauf agreed to move to third to accommodate her.
Gottlieb expressed her commitment to fighting against the "rule of officials," citing her successful struggle for immunity against Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara. She asserted that the public desires "Jewish Power."
The agreement follows a deal between Jewish Power, Likud, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Likud confirmed that Gottlieb will run with Jewish Power in the upcoming 26th Knesset elections and will not be considered a defector. As part of the agreement, Gottlieb is bound by Likud's factional discipline in Knesset votes until the 26th Knesset.
