Tali Gottlieb Joins Ben-Gvir's Jewish Power Party, Aiming for 15 Knesset Seats

Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir announced on Friday that Knesset member Tali Gottlieb will join his Jewish Power party, taking the second spot on the party's Knesset list. Ben-Gvir stated his ambition for the party to secure 15 mandates in the upcoming elections, emphasizing Gottlieb's role as a "force multiplier" who has "fought like a lioness for the right, for the Prime Minister, against the persecution of the court, against the fired Attorney General."

Ben-Gvir further elaborated on his political vision, calling for a government that stands firm against the "deep state" and completes the judicial reform. He reiterated his commitment to pursuing his agenda without compromise, including a plan for migration in Gaza, which he believes is realistic despite initial skepticism, citing past successes with prison reforms, emergency classrooms, and gun licensing policies. He also mentioned the possibility of a death penalty for terrorists as a realistic measure.

In her remarks, Gottlieb thanked Ben-Gvir for welcoming her, praising his leadership and the party's legislative achievements. She stated that Prime Minister Netanyahu needs Jewish Power to strengthen his position within the right-wing camp and thanked the Prime Minister for demonstrating what persecution looks like, referencing the indictment against her as such. Gottlieb, who previously held the 12th spot on the Likud list, urged her supporters to back Jewish Power, asserting that they want her to join the party to fight against the "rule of officials."
