Iran Claims Revolutionary Guard Advisors Captured in Lebanon Tunnel Complex

An Iranian Revolutionary Guard source told The New York Times that between 70 and 100 Hezbollah operatives, including Iranian advisors from the Quds Force, have been trapped in tunnels under the Ali Tahr Ridge in southern Lebanon since the IDF seized the area in June. The source stated that Hezbollah's attempts to supply the trapped individuals with food and water have failed, and any who tried to escape the tunnels were eliminated by Israeli forces. According to the source, efforts by Iran and Hezbollah to extract the operatives and their weaponry from the tunnels have been unsuccessful.

The report indicates that the tunnel complex, located in southern Lebanon, was exposed following the IDF's takeover. The Revolutionary Guard source asserted that all escape attempts from the tunnels were met with lethal force by the IDF.
