Thousands of employees from the P’rach Israel network took part this week in a special appreciation and empowerment evening at the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, held under the theme “The Mission Within You.” The event was organized to honor the organization’s education, therapy and rehabilitation teams working across Israel.
The evening included professional and values-based content, a joint activity, a musical performance and dancing. Its centerpiece was the show “Hed,” featuring Esti Bar Natan and Shiri Nasia, created especially for the network’s employees. The tribute focused on the thousands of workers, including kindergarten teachers, assistants, therapists, paramedical staff, principals, coordinators and administrative staff, who support children, adults and families every day.
P’rach Israel founder and CEO Rabbi Moshe Stein said special education staff perform a unique mission and that the results of their work are often not immediate. He quoted parents who tell him, “We found a place that believes in our child,” and said, “That is the secret of P’rach Israel, faith in every child and in the abilities within them.” Prof. Zeev Rotstein, head of the network’s medical system and former CEO of Hadassah and Sheba hospitals, said people remember those who listened, gave hope and made them feel they were not alone.
Rotstein added that the network’s human capital is what makes the difference in the lives of thousands of children and families. During the evening, the organization launched its new national brand, “P’rach Israel,” unifying all of its institutions and activities under one identity. The network said the move reflects its recent growth into one of Israel’s largest special education systems, now operating in dozens of cities and local authorities and serving thousands in education, treatment and rehabilitation. Employees received an appreciation gift at the end of the event.
