Owner Barak Abramov publicly stated that Cohen is "not going anywhere" and is a "top-tier professional." Abramov expressed strong belief in Cohen's methods, anticipating a turnaround once the squad is healthy and bolstered by an additional foreign player.

Cohen himself acknowledged the team's poor performance but was not surprised by criticism, drawing parallels to his own career where he faced doubts upon entering the German Bundesliga. He reportedly told the team, "Even when I came to the Bundesliga they said I had no chance, and I stayed in Germany for years. Those who are tut-tutting now will eat their hats."

Abramov addressed the players after the match, urging them to ignore external noise and focus on their collective effort, emphasizing unity through good and bad times. The team is already preparing for their upcoming away game against Bnei Sakhnin on Monday.

Several players are expected to return or increase their training intensity, including Nana Antwi, Gil Cohen, and Yarden Cohen. Left-back Yarden Cohen is unlikely to be fit for the next match.
