MK Meir Porush of United Torah Judaism sharply attacked Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara during a speech at the Shlomi Emunim conference. He echoed former prime minister Ehud Barak’s remarks from two days earlier, when Barak said that if Benjamin Netanyahu tried to "sabotage" elections, there would be "no choice but to expel him with sticks and stones."
Porush said that if the attorney general does not stop what he called her pursuit of Torah students, "there will be no choice but to use Ehud Barak’s words and expel her with sticks and stones." He also added a separate provocative line, saying, "The Arabs want to kill our bodies, the Kaplanists want to kill our souls."
