Teen Star Eyal Levi Reflects on Rapid Rise and Future Aspirations
Singer and teen idol Eyal Levi, 16, attended a pop-up event for the fashion brand Delta at Big Fashion Givatayim, celebrating 100 years of Winnie the Pooh and a new pajama collection. Levi, who is the son of Shoi Ne'emana band co-founder Roi Levi, is currently a brand ambassador for Delta's back-to-school campaign.
Reflecting on his career, which began with authentic videos posted online at age 12, Levi expressed surprise at his current level of success. "Honestly, no, I didn't believe it. It was authentic and innocent. I never thought it could reach this point," he stated. He offered advice to aspiring teens: "Believe in yourselves, follow your truth, don't let anyone bring you down, and work hard."
Levi is balancing his burgeoning music and television career with his return to school. "School has definitely started, I was in school today too. It's great to be back after the vacation, to see all the friends, all the teachers. There's a crazy contrast, a dissonance, between the vacation I had and returning to school, but I embrace it," he said.
His hit song "Maduyak" has achieved significant online success. Regarding financial earnings from his career, Levi stated he leaves such matters to his mother and agent, preferring to focus on his creative work. "Honestly, I don't deal with it. Everything goes through my mother and my agent, and I don't deal with this matter. I came to enjoy myself."
Levi also spoke about his past experiences with bullying and social exclusion, which inspired his song "Od Daka" and a speech at the Knesset. He feels his situation has improved, receiving mostly positive feedback and handling any negativity with maturity. Looking ahead, Levi aims to continue making music and performing on Israel's largest stages, with a significant upcoming performance at the Amphitheater on October 8th. He hopes to have a family and several albums released within the next decade.
