Pizza Chain Hssid Acquires Pizza Cheese, Expanding to 138 Locations

The Hssid Group announced Thursday its acquisition of the Pizza Cheese chain from a group of buyers. The deal encompasses all five Pizza Cheese branches, located in Ra'anana, Rosh Ha'ayin, Modi'in, Ashdod, and Ashkelon. These branches, each approximately 100 square meters, offer both dine-in seating and delivery services.

Pizza Cheese is a strictly kosher establishment offering a variety of pizzas, including gluten-free and vegan options, alongside pastas, salads, and other dishes. Similar to the Pizza Shemesh chain, Pizza Cheese also provides a large family platter for 30 shekels.

Yariv Halfon, CEO of Hssid Group, stated that the acquisition was driven by Pizza Cheese's strong brand recognition and well-established branches. He highlighted the chain's unique characteristics, such as its larger store sizes and ample seating, which differentiate it from other brands.

"We intend to develop and grow the chain," Halfon added. Hssid Group, owned by Sharon Hssid, currently operates 102 Pizza Shemesh branches, including one in Thailand with another soon to open, and 25 Pizza Fago branches. The group plans to open at least five new Pizza Cheese locations initially, with further expansion planned subsequently.

Following the acquisition, Hssid Group will operate a total of 138 branches across its pizza chains.
