Former Labor Party Legal Advisor Slams MK Yoav Segalovich and Mansour Abbas

Former legal advisor to the Labor Party, attorney Daniel Cohen, has launched a sharp criticism against MK Yoav Segalovich and Ra'am party chairman Mansour Abbas. Cohen expressed strong disapproval of Segalovich's alignment with Ra'am, a movement he described as identified with the Muslim Brotherhood. "Segalovich is a Jew joining a movement identified with the Muslim Brotherhood," Cohen stated in an interview. "This is a connection that is delusional, and it crosses a black line, not a red one."

Cohen also called for legal action to prevent Abbas from running for the Knesset. He cited explicit speeches by Abbas in Arabic where he allegedly referred to Israelis as "the Zionist enemy" and denied their right to the Temple Mount, the Western Wall, and the land of Israel. Cohen further claimed that Abbas "consistently refuses to condemn Hamas." He urged the political and legal systems to submit a request to disqualify Abbas from running for office, emphasizing the public importance of pursuing this matter.
