Israel has released five Lebanese citizens who were previously detained by the Israeli military in southern Lebanon. A statement from the office of the Israeli Prime Minister confirmed their release, citing investigations that proved they had no affiliation with any armed organizations.
Official sources indicated that the investigations established the individuals were not involved in any hostile activities, and therefore, there was no legal or security justification for their continued detention in Israel.
