Vassilije Micic Praises New Teammate Amir Coffey

Vassilije Micic, the most expensive signing in Israeli basketball history, is entering his second season with Hapoel Tel Aviv after a summer focused on training. The Serbian guard told EuroLeague that his break from basketball was limited to just seven days, emphasizing that basketball itself is his primary enjoyment. When asked about specific new additions, Micic praised several players, including Amir Coffey, Jacob Toppin, and Kadeem Carrington, for their unique contributions. He singled out Coffey, whom he previously played against in the NBA, as particularly impressive.

Looking at the broader EuroLeague landscape, Micic identified Shane Larkin's move to Fenerbahçe as a major summer acquisition. He admitted it would feel strange to face Larkin, a former Anadolu Efes teammate, in Fenerbahçe's colors, calling it a significant move by a smart player who trusts his instincts.
