Tom Holland has confirmed that he and Zendaya are married, after weeks of rumors and fake AI wedding images circulated online. In an interview with Esquire UK, Holland addressed the manipulated photos and, when asked whether friends were upset about supposedly missing the wedding, said, “No, because everyone was there.” He quickly shut down further questions, adding, “And that’s all I’m going to say on that.”
The date of the wedding remains unknown, but speculation began early this year after Zendaya was seen wearing a new gold ring. In March, her longtime stylist Law Roach appeared to confirm the marriage, saying, “The wedding already happened, you missed it.” That led to the fake images spreading online, and Zendaya later had to explain on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, “People tell me, ‘The photos are beautiful,’ and I say, ‘Baby, it’s AI. They’re not real.’”
Holland said little about the wedding itself, but he spoke warmly about his wife, describing their relationship as one built on a strong foundation that can withstand the pressures of fame. He said they can support each other in ways no one else can because they understand the life they lead, adding that he had found “my person.” Holland called Zendaya his best friend and said he had never been happier, more supported, or more protected.
The couple began dating about a decade ago while filming “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” They reportedly got engaged at the start of 2025, with the first public hint coming only in September, when Holland corrected a reference to Zendaya as his “girlfriend” and said, “fiancée.” They usually avoid talking about the relationship and rarely appear together on red carpets, but on Monday they broke that pattern and attended the premiere of their new film, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” together. Another shared film, “The Odyssey,” is due out next month.
