Chimpanzees at Ramat Gan Safari Exhibit Remarkable Problem-Solving Skills

The Ramat Gan Safari recently conducted a special enrichment activity for its chimpanzees, involving a challenging puzzle with fruits that quickly went viral online. Keepers placed fruits inside a mesh structure, making direct access impossible and prompting the chimpanzees to devise creative solutions.

The objective of the activity was to encourage the chimpanzees to think, experiment, and find innovative ways to obtain the food. Chimpanzees are known for their high intelligence, advanced learning abilities, and capacity for imitation, ranking among the smartest species in the animal kingdom.
