Top Rabbi Delivers Sermon Ahead of High Holy Days
Rabbi Binyamin Finkel, the spiritual supervisor of the Mir Yeshiva, visited the Rekhasim Yeshiva to deliver a sermon ahead of the High Holy Days. For an hour, students listened to Rabbi Finkel's words, which focused on the importance of the month of Elul, the obligation to prepare for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, and the need to enter the holy days with spiritual awakening, self-reflection, and future commitments.
Rabbi Finkel particularly emphasized the importance of character development and interpersonal relationships, urging listeners to strengthen respect for others, be careful not to offend fellow students, and increase love for fellow Jews and peace. The sermon was attended by the yeshiva's rabbinical staff.
